I need an Elmer!
I recently got my first handheld radio. It is a Yaesu FT-4X. I downloaded the ACS frequency list from the club website, got a programming cable and a clone cable, and downloaded the programming software from Yaesu. But when the program opened, it was asking for a lot of info, some of which I do not seem to understand very well. I don’t mind doing the work loading all the information, but I would like an Elmer to walk me through that process, at least in the very beginning. I am available to travel and meet an Elmer somewhere if he/she can help me, even if it is before or after the next club meeting. If someone can help me with this, I would be incredibly grateful.
