CVARC:
The Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club (CVARC) is a 501(c)3 organization incorporated as a non-profit in the State of California, and established for the benefit of the amateur radio community. Our bylaws govern our activities and are open for all members and the public to read. CVARC is lead by a board of directors.
CVARC holds a meeting the third Thursday of each month at the East Valley Sheriff's Station, Thousand Oaks, CA. Meetings start at 7:30 PM with a pre-meeting technical assistance session for those who are interested. Meetings are open to the public and members are encouraged to bring their friends.

CVARC is designated as an ARRL special service club due to its extensive involvement in community service, emergency response, amateur radio training classes, field day, yahoo discussion groups and Volunteer Examiner (VE) amateur radio license exam program.

Membership:
CVARC single membership is $25 a year. Family membership is $30 a year. If the single membership dues is paid for multiple years, the special rate is $20 per year.
A special $10 single membership level exists, which includes any new individual member, for the first year, who has just been licensed for the first time. It also includes any member who is a full-time student at the time the membership is begun or renewed. If each club member of a family qualifies for the $10 level, the dues is $10 per member, not to exceed the regular $30 family membership level.

CVARC promotes activities such as V.E. Sessions, Camp-outs, Novice/Technician classes and much more. Our club participates in Field Day, an annual event held by the ARRL in June, with the purpose to promote communications among ham radio operators. CVARC has ranked first place many times in the past few years, with months of preparation for the event.
